A Certified Interior Designer and member of Allied ASID (American Society of Interior Design), company founder Sarah Boyle designs kitchens, bathrooms, entertainment units, wine cellars, closets and many other interior spaces. She is a trusted adviser to clients with space challenges, physical restrictions and storage issues.
Known as an avid listener and a voice of reason when it comes to making decisions that impact budgets, Boyle is a faithful partner in any home design project. With solid project monitoring skills, Boyle boasts years of experience on material selection, including flooring, lighting, appliances, plumbing fixtures, countertops and backsplashes. SARAH BOYLE

From her formative years at Santa Catalina School, Sarah Boyle emerged not just educated but empowered, carrying with her a profound self-confidence and a belief that being a woman is no barrier to achieving whatever she sets her mind to. This ethos has been the cornerstone of her journey from a high school graduate with a passion for interior design to the founder of Boyle Design Group on the Monterey Peninsula.
Celebrating a decade of excellence, Boyle Design specializes in creating spaces that are not only functional but also a true reflection of the client’s personal style and needs. With a focus on kitchens and bathrooms, finish selection, architectural drafting, and project management, Sarah and her team have navigated the volatile business landscape to establish a trusted name in home design.
Sarah’s journey in interior design began immediately after high school, securing a job with a local designer that confirmed her passion and potential in the field. Furthering her expertise with studies at Monterey Peninsula College, she became an integral part of the Interior Design Program. Working her way through various firms, Sarah embraced the competitive spirit and eventually set out to create her own, client-centered design business.
Her design philosophy is rooted in the principle that “form follows function,” ensuring that each project she undertakes is tailored to the client’s life stage and objectives, whether that’s aging in place or preparing a home for sale. Yet, Sarah believes good design goes beyond function, playing a crucial role in bringing joy and satisfaction into everyday living spaces.
As Boyle Design Group marks its 10-year milestone, Sarah reflects on the journey with gratitude and anticipation for the future. A celebratory event with the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce highlights this significant achievement. Despite the company’s growth, Sarah remains committed to competitive pricing, client freedom in product selection, and an over-communicating, hands-on approach throughout the design process.
Above all, Sarah’s designs are client-focused, devoid of ego, aiming to create spaces that feel effortlessly right for both the home and its inhabitants. “It’s about honoring the home and the client,” Sarah says, encapsulating the essence of Boyle Design Group‘s success and her vision for the future.
JODI PAGELS
Meet Jodi Pagels, a seasoned CAD drafting expert with a vibrant career spanning over two decades and a valued Boyle Design Group team member. With an AAS degree in CAD drafting from the College of Lake County, Jodi’s journey in the world of design began with an internship that quickly escalated to a senior role at CabinetWerks Design Studio, thanks to her exceptional skills and dedication. Her expertise led her to Greenview Homes, where she took charge of the drafting department, further cementing her reputation in the industry.
As a dedicated professional and a mother, Jodi transitioned to work from home 13 years ago, seamlessly balancing her career and family life. Her proficiency in AutoCAD LT, combined with an extensive knowledge of custom and semi-custom cabinetry design and installation makes her an indispensable asset to our team. Jodi’s capabilities extend beyond drafting, with a firm grasp of Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
Outside the drafting table, Jodi is a devoted wife and mother of four. She has a passion for crafting and creating memorable experiences through family trips. Her love for design and commitment to her family shines through her work, making her a true inspiration and a cornerstone of the Boyle Design Group.

JUNIOR DESIGNER
The Boyle Design Group, a leading force in interior design, is excited to offer an opportunity for a creative and motivated Junior Designer to join our team. This role is designed for someone who is passionate about design, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to our mission of creating beautiful, functional spaces.
Hours: Flexible
Responsibilities:
- Support the Lead Designer in various design projects, providing innovative and practical solutions that align with our clients’ visions.
- Drafting Experience: Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred, with the ability to create detailed floor plans, elevations, lighting, and construction documents.
- Visual Understanding: Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting floor plans and elevations to effectively contribute to the design process.
- Budget Management: Capability to work within project budgets, ensuring design solutions are both cost-effective and high-quality.
- Creative Input: Contribute to the selection process of paint palettes, tile/stone/slab palettes, decorative lighting, and cabinet hardware, demonstrating a keen eye for design and color.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with Canva is a plus, showcasing versatility in using design software to create visually appealing presentations.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are imperative for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and vendors.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have a foundational understanding of interior design principles and a genuine enthusiasm for transforming spaces.
