While planning a huge kitchen project (that included moving where the kitchen would be in the house) my husband and I consulted with Sarah. She was very knowable about kitchens. She brought up lots of things to consider that would not have occurred to us otherwise. Sarah really thinks about function as well as aesthetics, resale values and construction costs… she even told us a few feng shui tips! She’s a big picture thinker and I’m glad we had her consult on our project. I think bringing Sarah on the project SAVED us money in the long run.

Sarah Boyle did an outstanding job for us in the design for the remodeling of our home in Pacific Grove, California. Early on, we decided to pretty much gut the 1970-built home we had purchased, and Sarah guided us smoothly through the design process, adding great technical and artistic value through the six month renovation. Her work was particularly effective in designing our new modern open-concept kitchen and the three bathrooms that we completely rebuilt. With great attention to detail, Sarah worked collaboratively with our general contractor, providing design specifications and assisting in delivery of all the project’s phases. She helped to recommend excellent suppliers for our new appliances, custom cabinetry, custom fireplace mantel and floor and wall tile–always guiding us to decisions we have been extremely pleased with. The project was completed in July of 2017, and the results have far exceed our expectations. Sarah was great to work with–a partner and friend–and we would recommend her without reservation to anyone considering a Monterey Peninsula remodel.
I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Sarah for over 10 years. As a hardwood flooring contractor, there are three critical areas that need to be communicated with clarity. Scope of work, cost, and time line. I am always impressed with her organization in these areas.
Sarah works hard to make sure the client and the contractor are on the same page, from color samples to final coat, making sure the details are taken care of.

Sarah made my kitchen update and remodel a breeze. With two small children and a busy schedule that is no easy feat! She assisted with selecting our flooring, countertops and backsplash, lighting, finishes, and even made great suggestions for how to refinish our existing oak cabinets on a budget. She really listened to what we wanted provided thoughtful suggestions and ideas. Sarah makes herself available for any and all questions. She provided quality referrals to contractors and other professionals. I would highly recommend her!
